Love, Laughter and Barefoot Memories at Jackson’s Bay
When Daisy reached out, she told me she wanted to capture what her wedding day should have felt like - full of love, laughter, and her beautiful family by her side. Earlier in the year, she and her husband had tied the knot, but didn’t have many photographs together with their children. So we headed to Jackson’s Bay in Barry, a place that holds a special piece of their story, to recreate those moments in the most natural, relaxed way.
The golden August light wrapped around them as the tide drifted out. The girls danced through the sand in soft white dresses, their laughter carried by the sea breeze, while Daisy’s veil became the centre of playful chaos and joy. Every frame spoke of togetherness, imperfectly perfect, heartfelt, and free.
This session is everything I love about family and wedding photography: storytelling that’s unposed, emotional, and true to life. It’s about connection, not perfection. Because at the end of the day, those are the memories that last - the ones where you can almost feel the sand between your toes and hear the laughter long after the waves fade.
